Courtney Miller

Courtney-Massage-Therapy-Christchurch

Remedial Massage Therapist RMT Level 6 since 2020

I’ve lived in Christchurch for most of my life, and before delving into the world of therapeutic massage my career has been mainly equine related. Although I still have a strong passion for horses, various injuries made me look down the path of helping our bodies to heal – after noticing first hand how beneficial touch can be. The more I learnt (and continue to learn) about massage the more I appreciate the human body and the stressors it can withstand, and the healing that can take place with hands-on encouragement.

My aim with therapeutic massage is to give the feel that I like to receive – leaving one feeling that they have been working on, while also instilling a feeling of relaxation to the body through the tension leaving the muscles. I use various techniques including trigger point release, myofascial release and deep tissue.

When I’m not busy massaging I’m usually found with my dog and a horse or two! With my own horse to ride and being heavily involved in a local Pony Club – I am often found out horsing around!
